From Giathigu in Kenya, sitting around 1600 metres above sea level, this lot brings together Ruiru and Batian in a way that feels tight, deliberate. Slow ripening. Cool nights. Dense fruit, loaded with character.

Fully washed, so everything shows up clearly. Nothing muddy. Just structure, clarity, and a clean line from start to finish.

In the cup, it opens warm. Roasted hazelnut, soft caramel. Then it shifts. Blackcurrant cuts through, bright and juicy, lifting the whole profile. The acidity is sharp but controlled, giving it shape without tipping over. Full body. Energetic. The finish hangs on with a gentle fruit sweetness that doesn’t rush off.
