Tasting notes: Dark chocolate, plum, roasted peanuts.
Carmo de Minas has become one of Brazil's most respected coffee regions, known for its refined Yellow Bourbon lots and quietly beautiful farms. Fazenda do Sertão sits high in the Mantiqueira ranges, family-run since 1891 and still pushing quality forward with every harvest.
Grown between 1100 and 1450 MASL, this mix of Red and Yellow Bourbon and Yellow Catucai develops slowly, building density and natural sweetness. A controlled double fermentation draws out deeper sugars and texture, focusing on body rather than bright acidity.
In the cup, it is grounded and generous. Dark chocolate leads. Plum adds depth through the middle. Roasted peanut lingers on the finish. Full-bodied, cocoa-driven and steady. A coffee that feels comfortable on its own and incredibly dependable in blends.
